I am drawn to lines, form and texture — finding the abstract within the everyday and the overlooked. Influences include the painters Bridget Riley, Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Rothko and Piet Mondrian, alongside the photographic vision of Bill Brandt and Daido Moriyama, artists whose work shapes how I look before I ever raise the camera.

Taking cues from masters of abstraction, I look for the unusual in ubiquitous objects — reframing familiar things from unexpected perspectives.
